The Klein Karoo – I always wanted to spend more time here. A house in peace, quiet and solitude, so as not to be distracted by the essentials in life: the Matjiesvlei Retreat Oudehuiskloof near Calitzdorp! Warm and gentle inside, fireside chats – outside semi-desert with visual stimuli in the panorama, but also in so many details.

Everywhere you are the same person, with all the positive and negative qualities. Over a longer period of time, you can not pretend. Finding and losing, understanding and misunderstanding, certainty and doubt, insight and obstinacy, coming closer only to move away again … Everyone carries its own story in life, but always searching for common ground. Different, we are different, but that makes us the same.
