Peru – July 2018
17 July 2018
Early, dark, cold – these are the first impressions in Chivay at 3635m, but today I set off for the Colca Valley with the famous Cross of the Condor. It gets warmer with every ray. Several viewpoints and the panoramic road give countless impressions of the landscape, the terraced structure is the most fascinating. When the condor cross is reached, I can watch the El Condor Paso sailing calmly in the thermals.
… I’d rather feel the earth beneath my feet,
yes I would, if I only could, I surely would.
Away, I’d rather sailed away …
